I've had the same pal with breeze blocks. I had 3 pallets delivered & they were all slightly different heights & widths. I laid them to my line like you'd normally do & after 4 rows I looked at the back of the wall & some were recessed & some were sticking out. Luckily I had to backfill what I'd done. Apparently someone thought It'd be a good idea to mix a load of half pallets they had onto my three.

Hi Justine what a bloody nightmare that is pal 👍👍 feel for you mate , try this for lifting tight block pal dill with hammer drill in block with 7mm drill pop brown plug in then , screw in the lift with a claw hammer or bar , saves damaging other blocks and using the bloody mango mate 😢😢 lovely job breaks me heart to see quality work redone and you will struggle to get it so good mate ❤❤😂😂😂 keep the faith mate , all the best pal

Very informative. Thinking of laying my own patio, and never done it before. For me laying the slabs looked the easy part. It’s the prep work that’s daunting me. Digging out, mot, wacker plate etc. And i have a man hole cover to contend with. 😮

Nothing to do with the video but wanted to pick your brains. Building small brick retainer and using a cheshire brick. Have a brickie doing it for me and he says does not need a DPC or engineering brick. Im worried about spalling, would this happen quickly or is it 20 years down the line. Also worried about moss/mould/general green from rising damp. Am I being over cautious? Walls are 40cm and 60cm tall, capped with slate, and the inner is block to keep soil off bricks. Many thanks

We had a drive installed yesterday and they did not do any screeding 🤷🏼‍♀️ We chose grey bricks but where the sand hadn’t been swept in enough at the end, the bricks look discoloured and there is still loose sand all over the drive. My husband tried sweeping it in last night but he didn’t really get anywhere. We also chose a different design but because the boss guy didn’t like it, he sent us the pattern that he’d be getting his team to do 👎🏻 Bit of a disaster really 😞
